Adrian and I would also like to welcome you to Linda Lashford, who will co-edit the ‘Blog/Articles’ section of the website with me. Many of you will know Linda from the OSW workshops she has attended and the March 2018 Writing for Photographers workshop which she led with great insight and understanding. Linda is also known for her beautiful work as an art photographer, with recent exhibitions at Inverewe Garden’s Sawyer Gallery, the Joe Cornish Gallery in Northallerton and the Horsebridge Gallery in Whitstable. Her travel photography/writing work as chief photographer for the walking holiday company Inntravel also made her the obvious choice to co-lead our October 2019 Travel Photography workshop. You can read some of Linda’s thoughts on travel in her Travel Photography blog/article.
One of the key features of the updated OSW website is the inclusion of this new Blog / Articles section, with contributions from us, other course leaders and you, our much valued workshop participants. The aim of these blog-articles is to share knowledge and experiences of what we are all working on between workshops and therefore to support the OSW community, in which we all learn from and nurture each other. You can expect monthly articles, with additional news items in between. Please note, in order to keep our workload to a manageable level, there isn’t a ‘Comments’ feature. However, we are including contributor contact details when appropriate. and please do use the ‘Share’ button to spread the news.
